"I'm a naive New Yorker from Harlem and I've been residing in Texas since 1997. I have been searching for an all around stylist for 11 years and was just about to grow dreads when I met Mimi. See where I'm from we don't blow dry and flat iron; we roller set and dry wrap, which we call a doobie. New Yorker's also take their braiding very serious; we have a rule "NO LUMPS NO BUMPS!!!" Needless to say I was a fish out of water here in Texas until GOD sent me Mimi. I actually prayed for her (smile). Prior to me meeting Mimi I would fly home every four months to get my hair braided or weaved. I was just not feeling the Texas stylist; no disrepect intended but I was not a happy camper. Mimi can do everything!!!! She can cut, color, braid, weave, twist and start your dreads. I'm in love with this sista and wherever she goes I will follow. Mimi is "Da Bomb" and she keeps a sista looking fresh to death.
