"I'm a naive New Yorker from Harlem and I've been residing in Texas since 1997. I have been searching for an all around stylist for 11 years and was just about to grow dreads when I met Mimi. See where I'm from we don't blow dry and flat iron; we roller set and dry wrap, which we call a doobie. New Yorker's also take their braiding very serious; we have a rule "NO LUMPS NO BUMPS!!!" Needless to say I was a fish out of water here in Texas until GOD sent me Mimi. I actually prayed for her (smile).
