am i doin it rite?

i dont know if im doin my wave technique rite. i do this...

1. Wash hair or dampen it with a hot towel.
2. Rub a generous amount of your choice of grease into your hair.
3. Brush hair for about 10 minutes.
4. Then put in baby oil or any hair oil to make hair shiny
5. Brush for a additional 10 minutes
6. Put on a Du-rag or wave cap for at least 30 minutes or overnight
7. Take off Du-rag or wave cap and brush hair again
8. Repeat until you get you desired wave style and continue process

I use Dax wave and groom and i ned some advice. cam you help a brotha out?

Make sure to not use too much of the Dax so it does not build up.
