360 wave help

Watz Gud everybody...i'm soo glad I found this site because no matter who I asked or where I looked I was not getting any good answers....anyways...here it goes...first off, i'm Puerto Rican and I have straight hair that doesn't stay down unless I use a doo-rag (brushes alone dont work on it).....anyways....i've been cutting my hair in the same low cut my WHOLE life and I finally decided that it is time for a change so i've decided to try and get waves so I bought some pomade, a brush, and already had a bunch of doo-rags....now all I need to know is the exact process on how to get waves....how much longer I should let my hair grow before getting waves and if I can even get waves at all....

yo first of all cut your hair low to about an inch since you are puertorican go to the hair store and ask for a wave texturizer put that in and start to brush it alot and when you start to see a wave pattern use murry's hair pomeade get a hot towel and put it on your head for about 1-2 minutes and after that brush hair for about 10-20 mintues i know thats a long time but if you want 360 waves thats what you have to do the most important thing !! dont wet your hair it will take the waves out of your hair but wear a do rag and the most important thing is to BRUSH!!!!!!!!! IF THIS DOES NOT WORK THEN YOU CAN'T GET WAVES BECAUSE IM BLACK AND I NEVER SEEN A PUERTO RICAN WITH WAVES BECAUSE ITS EASY FOR BLACK PEOPLE
