First of all, I would like to say that I'm happy I found this forum cause I'm about to put all those wack hairdressers in Birmingham, AL on blast!!!

Now for the drama!!!


First let me tell you how this broad did me wrong.
I wanted some 2 strand twists on my natural hair.
I arrived at the shop at 9. They called the African girl that does the braids and natural hair.


Anyway, Hadiya (the stylist) told me she would be at the shop within an hour.
She didn't get there till 12. WTF?You won't believe WHY she got there late.........she had to drive from Atlanta!
B**** if you were in ATL I would have took my azz some where else or went home and took a damn nap! Ain't nobody got time to be sitting around in the damn shop waiting for you azz!!!

Next, she finally gets started. You know this chick didn't even bother to wash my hair first? My hair had gel & StaSofFro and all kinds of sh**. I new she felt that sh**! It was Friday and the last time I washed my hair was Monday. WTF. But I shouldn't complain......my IGNATE azz sat there and let her continue. Anyway.........she started on the back and was making them really really little. WTF? And the whole damn time she was on the f***ing phone! Then halfway she says that she wants to do it with the comb & gel cause my hair in the back is too short. WTF!!!!!! I can 2 strand twist my own SH** and it ain't too short! What in the hot monkey hell is she talking about?!

So I'm like FINE! Do what ever you wanna do, just fix my sh**!
So she takes the twists down and starts with the comb coils.
*MIND YOU NOW!!!!* She told me comb and gel. So I'm thinking comb coils. That's WTF you use a comb and gel for ----> comb coils!!!
And she kept having to stop and talk on the damn phone.
Then she had to stop and go outside and talk to this crackhead selling stolen clothes. Brought the crackhead back to where she was doing my hair and asked for me to pay her now so she could buy the geekmonster discounted Tommy Hilfiger clothing. :lachen:

Anyway. At 3pm she finally finished. She would have finished by 2 if she would have stayed off the damn phone.

So I look into the mirror and I'm like WTF is this??? These ain't no damn comb coils? They all skinny and full of gel and FLAT as hell! I've done coils on my own damn head and they were FULL & FAT!! These damn twisty twigs on my damn head are so skinny! You can see my scalp!
Plus is was full of gel! Nasty nasty nasty azz gel! OMG is was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo nasty. It's liked she plopped that mess all over my head. I wanted to vomit!!
So I get into the car and it clicked to me that Hydiya didn't even bother to edge me up! Turns out that an edge up is extra! WTF WTF WTF MAN!!!!!

Oh yeah, this ish cost me $80 damn dollars! Her reasoning is that it'll last all month? I don't want this greasy sh** in my head for an entire month! Lawd save me JESUS!!

So the next day I figure I can add some water and pluck it out some so it'll have some curl and body. WRONG! This nasty mess is so full of gel it won't budge! My pillow case is now black and sticky. I almost wanted to cry at how sticky my hair was. It was so nasty! I didn't even get my freak on Saturday because I was afraid of leaving black sticky goo in my boo's car and on his bed. I figured I could do it doggy style on the damn floor but still, what if he wanted to suck on my ear? His head might have came in contact with the Blob living on my head.
I went out to dinner that night and this chick that was there said that she could have done a much better job........... AT $35!!!! There were 2 other chicks there that who had their hair done in natural styles and their hair was the bomb! I asked for her card and she will be doing my hair next time.

I figured that I had to wash this mess out! I was looking for ORS Herbal Cleanse Latherless Shampoo. All of the BBS were closed and Wal-mart, Rite-Aid, and CVS were out! I needed a shampoo that wouldn't lather up. The only shampoo that I know that would work is Redken and I was on the other side of town and didn't feel like driving to Homewood to get it.
So I had to do what I had to do.

I rubbed on some SoftSoap hand soap and proceeded to gently rub out the goo! God this sh** was sooo nasty!

This pic is actually the 10th rinse! The first time that goo covered the whole sink!!!

My hair came out much better after I washed it.

Everyone at work said my hair looks much better now. Turns out they were talking about my gooey head!

Lessons Learned: Stay the hell away from Hadiya @ Salon Hollywood in North Birmingham.
Don't pay $80 for some bull****!
When you see sh** is going wrong, get the hell up and leave.
Once they start talking ignate sh** about how they can't do what you tell them to do and you know they can do it, get the hell up and leave.
Black gel is the Devil!

If your stylist keeps burning you while you getting your hair pressed/curled . . maybe you should try not talking to him/her while there working or just find another stylist~**
