Arrow Barber Razor shave vs. Clipper Shave @ the Barber Shop

I know that you can get a better edge with the barber razor. I am worried about bumping. Also, does the razor edge last longer?

you probaly need to, well i know that you need to use hair clippers. i was told that we as black men can't use regular razor in most cases because the hair after being cut too close go back in the pour and tries to come back out and causes the bumps. i used a razor back on the days and man, bumps out of the ying yang. try to get some nice clippers if you can't get to the barbershop at that time.

Default those hair bumps

put a hot towel on your face after you shave or quickly get in the shower...the heat opens up your pours and it sometimes allows the hairs in your face to do what they need to do without causing the hair bumps
